Join Dr. Potter and other alto and bass players at the 2009
Alto and Bass Flute Retreat. This event takes place June 7-12 at the Asilomar Conference Center on the Monterey Peninsula in California.

In 2008, Alto and Bass Flute virtuoso Chris Potter performed at the British Flute Society Convention in Manchester, England and at the National Flute Association Convention in Kansas City.She also performed in San Diego, Kansas City, Grand Junction and Estes Park, Colorado and Hot Springs, Arkansas. In 2009 she will be giving several workshops and performing at the NFA convention in New York and will be playing a new Bill Douglas piece for flute, bassoon and piano.
Dr. Potter's newest book is Classical Pop Duets published by Kevin Mayhew in England. It is a collection of 30 of Chris's favorite classical pieces arranged for intermediate level players. Included are themes from Mozart's Eine Kleine Nacht Musik and Symphony No. 40, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, Debussy's Clair de Lune, Rossini's Barber of Seville and many others. Chris is currently working on an arrangement of O, Holy Night for mezzo, alto flute and piano to be published by Falls House Press, and a book of flute duets based on themes from musicals, to be published by Kevin Mayhew.
