Dr. Potter is an internationally known flute teacher, performer and arranger living in Boulder, Colorado. An alto and bass flute virtuoso, Chris has performed at the British Flute Society Convention in Manchester, England and at many National Flute Association Conventions. She also performed in Paris, London, Mexico City, San Diego, Kansas City, Seattle, and Boston. Click on Biography on the left sidebar for more details. Chris is Chair of the Low Flutes Committee of the National Flute Association. After a big splash at the Anaheim NFA Convention with a program featuring solo and chamber music for low flutes, she and her committee presented several events at the 2011 Charlotte Convention. In Charlotte, Chris premiered a new powerful work by Paul Schoenfield for alto flute and piano titled Ani Ma'Amin that is available through Flute World.
Alto and Bass Flute Solos is Dr. Potter's newest duet book.
